The Role  

The Assistant Project Manager – Medals and Sports Presentation will play a vital role in delivering one of the most memorable and meaningful aspects of the Commonwealth Games: the athlete victory moments. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of medal ceremonies and sports presentation elements across all competition venues, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard and in line with Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) protocols and brand values.

The individual will have prior experiences of coordinating projects, relationship management and working in a fast-paced environment. A methodical yet flexible approach to achieving goals will be key to the successful undertaking of this role, the individual will have demonstrable strong analytical, problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail and be willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills and Experience: 

As Assistant Project Manager – Medals and Sports Presentation you will help bring to life a high-profile and inspiring programme of Medal Ceremonies across ten days of elite sport competition. This role will support the planning, coordination, and execution of medal ceremonies and sports presentation elements across all Games competition venues, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard and in line with Glasgow 2026 and Commonwealth Sport (CS) protocols and brand values.

You will need experience in project coordination, preferably in a multi sport or major event environment. You will have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders. 

You will need to be a skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, focussed on delivering a collaborative approach. 

Problem solving is key and strong resilience required to resolve challenges and identify solutions.

Salary: Starting salary is from £30,000. Salary offered will be based on demonstrated skills and experience related to this role.
