Scotland’s most decorated Olympic and Commonwealth athlete, Duncan Scott MBE, the Scottish Thistles Netball team and future Netball sporting stars from across Glasgow, joined forces today to mark one month to go until the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Glasgow 2026 ambassador, Sam Heughan, will be stepping behind the decks at the first medal session of the Games on 24 July at SEC Armadillo.

Team Scotland has today announced its squad for the Glasgow 2026 Weightlifting competition, with nine athletes set to take to the iconic Armadillo stage next month and compete in front of a home crowd.

Sir Chris Hoy, one of the most successful British athletes of all time, today (5 June) unveiled the first in a series of Glasgow 2026 murals as Tour de 4, a unique cycling event created by the sporting champion, becomes an Official Provider of the Games and an Official Supporter of Team Scotland.
