The King’s Baton will visit community and national events across the country to allow people across Scotland to engage with the Baton and be part of the Games experience before it is presented at the Games Opening Ceremony where His Message to the Commonwealth to open the Games will be read.

With Commonwealth Games Scotland as Games Host, Scotland will be the 74^th and last Commonwealth country to hold its King’s Baton Relay events as part of the Summer of Sport.
