The Commonwealth Sport Foundation, the official charity of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, will be donating half of all Foundation-linked donations during the Games to its Glasgow Legacy Charity Partners – Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Scottish Sports Futures and Team Scotland Youth Trust.

Finnie's Foundation Friday is a Commonwealth Sport Foundation initiative to raise awareness and funds that will support communities across the Commonwealth and within the host city.

Activities are taking place on Friday 31 July at Glasgow Central Station and at Games venues, including the netball classification matches, encouraging fans to get involved and give back. Half of all funds raised will remain in Glasgow, supporting its three local charity partners creating a lasting legacy for the city beyond the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. The remaining half is directed to international programmes such as GAPS, which removes barriers to participation for Para athletes across the Commonwealth through training camps and education initiatives.

Allied Mobility have provided a fleet of their wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) for competing Para athletes throughout the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. Allied Mobility supported with funding for dedicated signage in venues to highlight accessible routes to spectator areas.

In addition to the match donations, Allied Mobility will be commissioning benches across Glasgow, decorated with pink polka dots in collaboration with Scottish Action on Mental Health.

One of these benches will be donated to Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, one of the Commonwealth Sport Foundation's three legacy charity partners in Glasgow.

As the charity for the Scotland's largest children's hospital, funds raised through Glasgow 2026 will help ensure that the positive impact of the Commonwealth Games is felt long after the Closing Ceremony, supporting children, young people and their families for years to come.
