Q - How can I purchase tickets for Glasgow 2026?
Tickets go on sale from Tuesday 21 October at 12:00 noon through an exclusive pre-sale for anyone who has signed up to the Glasgow 2026 database by 23:59 Thursday 16 October. General sale will commence on Thursday 30 October.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and payment will be taken immediately at checkout. For each session, there will be an availability indicator showing which sessions have the fewest seats remaining.
Q - What are the pre-sale dates and how do I gain access?
The exclusive pre-sale will begin at 12:00 on Tuesday 21 October, for anyone registered on the Glasgow 2026 database before 16 October, and living in Glasgow or surrounding areas with a G postcode. This first phase of pre-sale will close at 09:00 on Friday 24 October.
Pre-sale Two will be for anyone registered with Glasgow 2026 with a Scottish postcode and will begin at 12:00 on Friday 24 October. This includes anyone from Glasgow and the surrounding area with a G postcode. This phase of pre-sale will close at 09:00 on Monday 27 October.
Pre-sale Three will be to the remainder of the database on Monday 27 October at 12:00 noon, concluding on Wednesday 29 October at 12:00 noon. This also includes all Scotland and G postcodes.
The General sale starts at 12:00 noon on Thursday 30 October. This also includes anyone who is registered for access to pre-sale.
To access the pre-sale, you must have registered with Glasgow 2026 by 23:59 Thursday 16 October. You can only purchase a ticket via the pre-sale through a registered email address, so please ensure that all your details are up to date on the system.

We know demand for tickets will be high, so we’re committed to making the process as fair and accessible as possible.
With the UK’s largest sporting event coming to Glasgow next year, we want local communities to have the first chance to buy sought-after tickets. A pre-sale ensures this, giving fans confidence in the tickets and sports they book.

500,000 tickets will be available for the Games, across Opening and Closing ceremonies, 10 sports and six Para sports, in four iconic venues.
