Sam Heughan is an internationally recognised Scottish actor, producer and wellbeing advocate, best known for his role in Outlander.

Alongside his on-screen career, Sam is the founder of My Peak Challenge (MPC), a global health, wellness and philanthropy community that encourages people to set meaningful goals, build healthy habits, and raise funds for charitable causes. In 2026, MPC selected the Commonwealth Sport Foundation as its dedicated charity partner, strengthening the connection between its global fundraising efforts and the values of the Commonwealth Games.

The organisation joined Glasgow 2026 as the Official Wellness Challenge Provider, aligning closely with the Games’ focus on participation, inclusion, and long-term wellbeing.

I am overjoyed and extremely proud to be joining the Glasgow 2026 team. We have all these amazing athletes at the top of their game coming to Glasgow, and I can’t wait for them to experience the pride, warmth and welcome from the city and the Scottish crowds.
