Jake Jarman
Official Ambassador | Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games
Jake Jarman is one of Britain’s leading gymnastics talents and one of the most exciting performers in international Artistic Gymnastics.
He rose to prominence at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he made history as the first English male gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games. His titles in the team, individual all-around, floor and vault events marked one of the most successful performances in Commonwealth gymnastics history.
Known for his explosive power and high-difficulty routines, Jake was the only gymnast in Birmingham to attempt a vault with a 6.0 difficulty rating. He’s widely admired for his ability to keep his cool while performing at the highest level.
At international level, Jake has won World and European titles, securing a bronze medal on floor exercise at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He is also the first gymnast to complete 3.5 full rotations on floor, a skill that has been officially named “The Jarman” in his honour.
Beyond competition, Jake is recognised for inspiring young gymnasts through his performances, professionalism, and passion for the sport.
As an Official Ambassador for Glasgow 2026, Jake is helping bring the Games to life, engaging with communities and fans, and helping to inspire participation in gymnastics and sport across Scotland, the UK, and the wider Commonwealth.
I’m absolutely thrilled to be named a Glasgow 2026 Ambassador. The Games have always been a special celebration of sport, unity, and inspiration, and it’s incredible to see them coming to Glasgow. Being able to help share this experience and support athletes and fans alike is something I’m really excited about.
