The Role
We are seeking a Coordinator, Hosted Events to join our Strategic Partnerships team and support the delivery of the Glasgow 2026 hosted events programme.
Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Manager, Hosted Events, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of a high-profile programme of events and guest experiences.
Job Summary:
As Coordinator, Hosted Events, you will support the planning and operational delivery of a dynamic programme of receptions, showcases and sport experiences for national and international stakeholders, partners and VIP guests. Working across partnerships and operations, you will help ensure every interaction is seamless, well-coordinated and delivered to a high standard.
Through strong organisation and attention to detail, you will coordinate guest lists, invitations and communications, while supporting the delivery of delegate journeys and on-site guest experiences. Close collaboration with teams across Protocol, Accreditation, Ticketing, Venues, Hospitality and Sponsor Services will be key to ensuring a joined-up and consistent approach.
Key Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in event coordination within a busy and fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders at the same time. Strong administrative skills and a high level of accuracy will be essential, alongside confidence in using Microsoft Office tools, including advanced Excel.
You will be an effective communicator, comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and experienced in managing guest lists, databases or CRM systems. A structured and organised approach will enable you to prioritise effectively and support the delivery of complex programmes.
Experience in stakeholder engagement or working within a major events environment would be advantageous, particularly where coordination, collaboration and attention to detail are critical.

Salary: Starting salary is from £28,325. Salary offered will be based on demonstrated skills and experience related to this role.
