Scotsman Hospitality named Official Supporter of Glasgow 2026
Scotsman Hospitality, the home to many of Glasgow’s iconic restaurants, bars and venues, has been announced as an Official Supporter of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Throughout the Games, the Glasgow-based group will offer live coverage of the incredible sporting moments happening across the city with TNT Sports available on television in every one of their venues, including Oran Mor, Committee Room No.9 and The Grosvenor Cafe, across all 11 days.
The Official Supporter announcement follows the Scotsman Group confirming that The Corinthian Club - the group's landmark venue in the heart of the Merchant City - has been confirmed as the official Team Scotland House, the home from home for Team Scotland's athletes, their families, friends, partners and supporters throughout the Games.
Team Scotland House has been a cherished part of Team Scotland's Games-time experience since 1998, and its return to Glasgow brings the concept full circle. Housed in the city's magnificent former judiciary courts, just minutes' walk from Central and Queen Street stations, The Corinthian Club will be a buzzing hub of activity across the 11 days of competition - hosting athlete gatherings, media showcases, partner receptions and celebrations of Team Scotland's sporting success.
Diane McLeod, Director of Games Services at Glasgow 2026, said: “Providing a warm welcome and inclusive experience are two key pillars of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. There is no sector better known for these traits than hospitality, particularly in Glasgow and we’re delighted to see these businesses ready to provide a true Glasgow welcome to our visitors from across the Commonwealth this summer.
“As the home to many of Glasgow’s iconic restaurants, bars and venues, we’re thrilled to welcome Scotsman Hospitality to the team as an Official Supporter and can’t wait to see Team Scotland House in full swing.”
Beyond The Corinthian Club, Scotsman Hospitality looks forward to throwing open the doors of its venues across the city to athletes, support teams, officials and spectators alike — whether for pre-competition dinners, drinks receptions, celebration events or simply a warm Glasgow welcome after a day of world-class sport.
Graham Urquhart, Head of Sales at Scotsman Hospitality, said: "We are enormously proud and excited to be an official supporter of Glasgow 2026. The Commonwealth Games coming home to Glasgow is a once-in-a-generation moment for our city, and to have The Corinthian Club chosen as the official Team Scotland House is a tremendous honour for everyone in our team.
"For 11 unforgettable days, the eyes of the Commonwealth will be on Glasgow, and we cannot wait to showcase our venues. From dinners and drinks receptions to the celebrations that will follow every medal won, our teams will be ready to give athletes, support staff and spectators the very best of Glasgow hospitality."
Scotsman Hospitality operates a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, hotels and event venues across Glasgow and Scotland, and has a long and proud track record of supporting major events and sporting campaigns in the city.
