OFX supporting financial operations behind the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games
OFX, a global financial operations company, is supporting the Games behind the scenes to deliver a corporate card programme for officials from around the globe, under a new partnership agreement with Glasgow 2026.
Glasgow 2026 is managing a broad range of financial and operational requirements, from supporting Games officials and suppliers to maintaining visibility and control across spending and payments.
As an Official Supporter of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, OFX will provide a dedicated per diem card programme for approximately 600 Games officials travelling to Glasgow from across the globe.
Rather than relying on cash advances, officials have received OFX-issued cards loaded with their approved daily allowances, providing a simple and secure way to access funds throughout the Games while reducing administrative burden on organisers. Glasgow 2026 will benefit from improved visibility of spending, streamlined reconciliation and greater operational efficiency for its finance team.
A key component of the partnership is the dedicated OFX team working alongside Glasgow 2026. OFX specialists have worked closely with Glasgow 2026 to implement the programme and will continue supporting the card solution throughout the Games and beyond.
