A free ice collection service will be available for athlete training and recovery from the following team hotel locations between 07:00 and 22:00. The service will operate from 21 July to 2 August for Zones 1 and 2, and from 22 July to 2 August for Zone 3.

• Crowne Plaza, outside the front of the hotel adjacent to Games Services Centre (Zone 1)
• Radisson Blu, Games Service Centre, level 1 (Zone 2)
• Glasgow Marriott, outside the side of the hotel adjacent to Games Services Centre (Zone 3)
• Doubletree Hilton, next to Welcome Desk, ground floor (Zone 3)

Each CGA is entitled to a daily allocation of 12 kg of cubed ice across all sports. Ice can be collected and transported to where it is needed using the eskies (wheeled cool boxes) provided by Glasgow 2026.

The distribution of ice will be managed and recorded by the Team Services workforce to ensure fair and consistent access for all CGAs.

CGAs are kindly requested to communicate openly with one another to help ensure ice is shared fairly, supporting the recovery needs of all athletes. As supplies are limited, the daily allocation of 12 kg per CGA cannot be exceeded.

Bespoke Ice Orders

If a CGA wishes to arrange an additional supply of ice for its own use, this can be organised directly with the nominated local supplier, Ice 247.

Ice can be delivered directly to the CGA's team hotel as either a one-off or regular order. This service is paid for by the CGA and provides the convenience of delivery to the hotel, removing the need to collect ice from the Team Hub Hotels. It also allows CGAs to order quantities in excess of the daily Glasgow 2026 allocation of 12 kg.

Ice is available as either cubed or crushed at a cost of £9.50 per 12 kg. Payment must be made at the time of ordering.

Orders may be placed by the Chef de Mission, Deputy Chef de Mission or Team Manager. Any agreement is strictly between the CGA and Ice 247.

Bespoke orders are subject to a minimum order quantity of 25 kg and require at least 24 hours' notice.

CGAs are responsible for collecting their order from the team hotel at the agreed delivery time and for providing suitable ice storage within their allocated space in the team hotel or operational areas.For orders please see the contact details below:
