Pride House is the official LGBTIQ+ community space of the Commonwealth Games, a vibrant, visible and vital space at the heart of the city. 

Pride House aims to create a space where LGBTIQ+ people can:  

  • Feel safe, seen and celebrated 
  • Connect with community, culture and sport 
  • Engage with the Commonwealth Games

 

Location

Pride House Glasgow is based at Woody's, 10 John Street, G1 1JQ, right in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City, with some satellite event venues nearby.

Who's it for?

Everyone is welcome.

Pride House is a welcoming space celebrating inclusion in sport. Whether you're LGBTQ+, an ally, competing, coaching, officiating, volunteering or supporting the Games, you're invited to drop in.

Come to relax, meet people from around the world, watch the sport, take part in events, or simply enjoy a coffee between competitions.

  • Photography may be taking place during some events, look out for signage.

Getting There

Pride House is around:

  • 10 minutes' walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station
  • 15 minutes' walk from Glasgow Central Station
  • Five minutes' walk from St Enoch Subway Station

It's also well served by local buses, and there is cycle parking nearby.

Restrictions 

The Pride House Lounge is mainly for those age 18+ but there are some targeted youth and family events, check out the website for further details.
