Team Kit Laundry Service
A complimentary laundry service will be available for athletes and Team Officials from the following sports:
- Judo
- Netball
- 3x3 Basketball
- 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball
The service is available for designated training and competition clothing to help ensure athletes and Team Officials have access to essential kit throughout the Games.
A laundry drop-off and collection point will be located on the ground floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Congress Road, Glasgow G3 8QT (Zone 1), next to hotel reception. It will operate between 07:00 and 22:00, from the first day of training for each sport until the final day of competition.
Two personal mesh laundry bags and waterproof identification tags will be provided for athletes competing in Netball, 3x3 Basketball and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball. The tags should be attached to each personal laundry bag and clearly labelled with the athlete's name and CGA.
Large team laundry bags will also be provided for each of the above sports. Team Managers are responsible for collecting their CGA's training and competition clothing and delivering it to the laundry point for laundering.
Identification tags for the team laundry bags will be provided and should be labelled with the CGA name and the required washing instructions (wash only or wash and dry).
Individuals are responsible for separating white and coloured garments into different personal laundry bags to prevent colour transfer.
Turnaround Timings
Laundry will be collected by the laundry provider at 09:00 each day and returned by 09:00 the following day. Any laundry received after 09:00 will not be collected until 09:00 the next day and will therefore be returned a day later.
