As part of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, students from across Scotland were invited to create original poster designs celebrating Glasgow, the Games and the spirit of sport.
The competition was launched to create a collection of artwork that would form part of the Games' visual identity, with the winning designs displayed across venues and city locations throughout the event.
Students were encouraged to interpret the brief in their own way, resulting in a diverse and imaginative collection of work spanning illustration, graphic design, digital art and sculpture.
This gallery showcases every competition entry, celebrating the creativity, talent and unique perspectives of students from across Scotland. Together, the artworks capture a wide range of interpretations of the Games, inspired by themes of community, movement, inclusivity, sporting excellence and Glasgow's distinctive character.
From all of the entries, six winning posters were selected to become part of the official look and feel of Glasgow 2026. Drawing inspiration from iconic city landmarks, sporting energy and Scottish culture, these designs helped bring colour, personality and a strong sense of place to the Games-time environment.
